Weekend Goings

So I'm sick today... sick on a Monday. It's a total cliché, I know.

Though here's what you might not know... I'm a total polyclinic-goer. Haha! My friends always make fun of me and say I'm very cheap, or say that they'd rather use the time queueing to be at home sleeping. But I actually find going to the polyclinic very therapeutic HAHA. Ben says I'm a total weirdo, because I even have a polyclinic routine.

I will go register, get my number and depending on the time given.. I will go eat my Ban Mian from Face Ban Mian (LOL at the name), specifically Pork Belly You Mian Dry. It's so delicious I don't know why I bother eating at other ban mian stalls actually! I also always always always pair it with Teh O because I am 26 going on 62 hahaha.

If I have 2-3 hours to play with... yeah waiting time can be that long.. I will decide if I should just watch videos on my phone to pass the time or sit down at a cafe and read my book. If it's cooling enough I will sit at a kopitiam and literally lim kopi. Then I'll head back to the polyclinic, see the doctor, get my meds then cab home and sleep. Quite relaxing right!? Nothing much for me to complain about. Plus at the end of the day I only pay less than $20 most times. I think once I had to do a Glaucoma eye test and it came up to $30 - which is pretty unbelievable.

Anyway the point of this post was to actually show off my hair and eyelashes! Haha, I know I totally sidestepped. I recently got my hair dyed thanks to Edward, who I've been going to since this blog started pretty much (my most popular post with him here). It's sort of a reddish brown which I really like! I kind of wanted an ombré originally because I hate it when my roots show.. but we'll cross that bridge when I come to it. I'm actually quite enjoying short hair and wondering if I should go shorter hmmm.

As for my eyelashes... well a new post is coming up soon on my Dayre. I'll notify you guys about it here when it's up! ;) But for now, I'll give you a hint that the place starts with a C!

Hope you guys aren't suffering too bad Monday Blues. I myself am off to have my 3rd nap of the day because my throat and head are killing me!

Looking for Sunshine in the Heavy Rain

Being a Catholic, I know many others within my religion who sometimes blame God when shit happens. I know it's easy to, and I can't explain why, but I've never been angry with God when I'm stuck in a shitstorm. Seriously!

I think for a long while I've always known things to happen for a reason. It's the suckiest excuse, but also the truest. When I lost the first love of my life, I couldn't see why it had to happen (okay I was a crazy ex lol) . Now, all these years later, I know that if it never happened I would've never met Ben, who's allowed me to change into someone I'm actually proud of being.

When events take place so close to each other, and they are all the absolutely definition of crap, it's hard to step back and take some perspective. Even for the situation that I'm in now, I truly cannot make sense of what is happening. I can only understand that when it is all over, because it has to be at some point, I will be a stronger person. And even if I don't, even if I remain the same, I will know that there is good to be felt even in darkness. These pictures above were taken at my birthday dinner recently, with my family and my beloved. I felt every bit as happy as shown. No fake smiles at certain angles so I look good - just pure unadulterated happiness. All these taken in the middle of the toiletbowl I seem to be stuck in right now.

I will only look forward to the future because it can only be better - and if I believe so, it will be so. It's the Law of Attraction! ;)

Thank you to all who have stood by me, because it's only in dark times you find the light in people. Thank you for being my sunshine in heavy rain.

Going Loco at Criollo Cocoa!

If you guys have been following me on my Instagram @samanthajoyloh, you'd have seen the name Criollo Cocoa appear there (as seen in photo above, that was my first visit)! I was, at that time, invited to go try their lunch tasting and try out some latte art, hence I created a latte-art bear hehe.

This time, I'm back with a review on their brunch menu! I know you guys don't know me as someone who writes about food (though I did have one foodie's day post before) and I am definitely no gastronomy aficionado... but who better to explain to the masses about a cafe, than one who IS part of the masses? ;) hahaha. I mean, everyone prefers to hear food reviews from the point of a real customer right ? So let's begin!

Criollo Cocoa is named after a premium cocoa bean used for premium chocolate. The cafe itself, which is located at Orchard Gateway Level 2, aims to be a relaxing oasis in the midst of the bustling Orchard Road.

Their promise to customers is to serve big breakfasts, burgers, pastas, and waffles with a twist: and it was with that promise in mind that I headed down to the meal in store for me. :)

Here is a quick look at their menu if you'd be interested!

Personally, my eyes are very much drawn to the Piperade, Smoked Duck Aglio Olio, and the Mixed Grilled Platter! I never got to try them out but everytime I see these names my mouth automatically begins to salivate haha! The prices for these are pretty typical at $13-$18.. but don't worry! There's a price range for everyone.

Because... for the students.. well I suppose more of poly/university students who have flexible schedules, the lunch menu (which runs 11am - 3pm from Mondays to Fridays) is what I would think to be highly attractive! Scrambled eggs with Toasts are only $4 and the Ratatouille Toast with Scrambled Eggs only go for $5.90!? That's really affordable, especially at such a nice cafe.

But if you'd like something heavier... well let me introduce you to.......

The Big Breakfast! It is an American Styled breakfast and comes with chicken sausage, scrambled eggs, crispy bacon or turkey ham, hash brown, sauteed mushrooms, buttered toasts, served with fresh cut fruits and low fat yoghurt. The fruits and yoghurt actually work to provide a healthy balance to the proteins and carbs on the plate - very well thought out.

In fact, a Veggie Breakfast is in the works to come out this September so as to provide a healthier, low salt, low fat option to those who'd like to watch their diet. :)

OFFER: for the Big Breakfast, it is currently available at $12 nett (R.P $17.90) for the SG50 promotion until end of September!

Next is the Double Cheese Egg Toastie (R.P. $8.90)! What it is is creamy scrambled eggs with mushrooms and onions, topped with mozzarella and monterey cheese on ciabatta toast.

And... I gotta admit it tastes much better than it looks. I'm typically a no-cheese person. The closest I come to liking cheese is that dust on cheezels hahaha. I don't even really like cheese on my pizza, yeah. But! This toastie which combined the eggs and cheese so well, really actually got me liking it! No joke. But it's possibly also cause of the onions - I have a soft spot for onions. ;)

P/S: Due to all the photo taking.. we ate the toasties cold lol! I still liked it though, so I can imagine it being so much better when it's fresh from the kitchen!

The Criollo Combo XL Burger (R.P $18.90) is Criollo Cocoa's house creation! It comes loaded with one BEEF and CHICKEN patty.. so that's 2 patties lol, cheddar cheese, crispy bacon, fried egg, lettice, tomato slices and served on toasted brioche bun.

Extra add-ons are available are available for those who wish to further customize their burgers! :) But condiments like tomato ketchup, mayo, barbecue sauce, honey mustard, and ranch dressings are availble at no extra cost - all in the bid to help you create the "one of a kind" burger that you've also dreamed of having.

As you can see here, I'm super happy with The Chef's Beef Stew which contains slow cooked beef chunks with carrots and mushrooms, served with toasted bread or rice. We opted for bread that night though, because rice might have been to heavy - what with everything else.

I thought the flavors were actually pretty rich and the beef was very tender. I tend to dislike beef which I end up chewing for days on end (if it's not a steak) and I thought the stew and carrots all complemented each other nicely.

WEEKDAY DINNER OFFER: from Monday to Friday (6pm onwards), a free 25ml bottle of Val de Rance Cider will come with every order of The Chef's Beef Stew (R.P. $16.90). Promotion till end of September.

The last but not least... is the Fruit Waffle (R.P. $12.90)! The waffle is freshly baked, topped with a scoop of vanilla ice-cream, seasonal fruits and maple syrup. :)

My friends actually know me as a no dessert person... so they say my boyfriend is very lucky lol! I don't make him queue for desserts like llao llao or yami yoghurt or honey creme.. so on.. haha. I'd much rather swim in a pool of potato chips HAHA.

So honestly, the fruit waffle wasn't my favorite. I can see many people who like waffles and ice cream swooning over this and the chocolate waffle shown at the top. When I went for the first tasting, all the girls beside me were swooning.

Nonetheless, facts are facts. The waffles, along with the ice cream, are all MADE IN-HOUSE, meaning no pre-packed food! The amount of sincerity is winning enough. And admittedly the waffles were fluffy and the ice cream packed a good flavor. I'm not sweets person, but I can see that this would really whet appetites.

Here's me with Shenny, my dinner date! ;)
To all who'd like to try the food out at Criollo Cocoa, take the chance now since they're having all these wonderful offers, the last one below being especially tempting! ;) Hope you guys enjoyed the post, and if you have any questions or comments to make, just leave them below!

P/S: Some photos were taken with Shenny's camera haha! Hers seems so much better than mine... *sobs*

OFFER: all customers who are able to quiote the existing promo code will get a 20% discount off the total bill till end of September (excluding items which are already on offer).

PSST: Promo code is C20%4Nuffnang

MY SLIMMING JOURNEY WITH SHOU SLIMMING CENTER (1/2)

Here's my final instalment of my journey at Shou Slimming Center, and I'll also get to speak about my results (which I know everyone's waiting for hehe)! If you haven't read the first part, you can click here.

But before I say anything else, I feel that everyone should know that every slimming center requires at least a few things whilst you are on your journey:
  1. Your willpower to not eat everything and anything in sight
  2. At least some effort in exercising/living an active lifestyle
  3. Commitment to go down for your sessions on a regular basis.
The only number I fulfilled was Number 3 hahaha. I work a lot and I try to meet my friends and family often, so me-time/exercise time is dwindled down quite a bit. In that sense, I would rate my lifestyle as pretty much sedentary. While I don't eat everything I see, I still find it hard to exercise power over my decisions in meals and end up eating more than I should; and very often these things I end up eating are unhealthy. If you think you're just like me, then I hope this post will offer you deeper insight!

I did a series of treatments over a month, and one of them was featured previously and it was Thermalipo and the second one was Synergy: Cryolipolysis - I will be introducing them both more in depth below.

Beautiful, Tamed Tresses with Asience's Beauty Serum Leave on Treatments

Today, I've got a very special message today for those who love to color, perm, or simply pamper their hair!!! and that is.... Asience has created a line of Beauty Serum Leave on Treatments that have been formulated with the natural goodness of the purest extracts such as a rich infusion of Argan Oil. Camelia Oil, Pomegranate extracts along with Rose, White Pearl and Lemongrass essences in every single drop, thus allowing anyone to enjoy perfectly smooth hair that lasts 24/7!! Woohoo!

The ingredients have been specially chosen to create a serum that is luxurious and yet so light in texture that it can be absorbed instantly into the hair, moisturizing it from deep within. This means hair is effectively protected from daily damage such as friction and heat. For those, like me, who enjoy spending more time outside the toilet than in the shower conditioning their hair, this is a cause to rejoice! :)

And so, without further ado, let me introduce the Asience Leave-on Treatment Oil for Damaged Hair (R.P. S$16.90)! This star product promises smooth and manageable hair even after 24 hours due to the texture of the oil which is so easily absorbed! It doesn't hurt that it is non-greasy too, so the hair is left silky to the touch without the icky stickiness.

The Leave-on Treatment Oil can be used on towel-dried or damp hair, and all you need is about 1-2 pumps onto your palm. Thereafter, just spread the oil out evenly on both palms and then run your fingers through your dry damaged ends.

If you'd like a clearer idea of how to apply this to your hair, just watch the quick video below:

As promised, the oil is really lightweight and so easy to spread across the palms and onto the hair. Forget any tacky texture, the treatment really transfers deep into the hair ends for flowing locks with amazing shine.

Personally, I enjoy using the treatment oil on an everyday basis because it's just so simple. In fact, if your fear for hair oils rests on the idea that your hair will be a hot mess due to humidity + oils congealing, just let Asience put that to rest. The feeling is very very slightly thicker than water but it spreads just like it! My hair ends tend to be slightly more brittle because I like to tie my hair in a bun and that puts a lot of stress on them. With the hair oil, my hair ends feel strengthened and much smoother.

Asience's Beauty Serum Leave-on Treatment Oil and Beauty Serum Leave-on Treatment Milk
Hand in hand with the Leave-on Treatment Oil comes Asience's Beauty Serum Leave-on Treatment Milk (R.P. S$16.90). This one is targeted at revitalizing dry and unmanageable hair. The milk is concentrated to provide hair with much-needed moisture, especially hair that is prone to tangling and frizzing.

Just like the Leave-on Treatment Oil, you can use the Milk Treatment on towel-dried or damp hair. You also need about 2 pumps for shoulder length hair (1 - 1 half if you've got pixie-cut length) and then concentrate only on your dry damaged ends. You can choose to blow dry after use to keep your hair in place, but leaving it to air dry is fine.

The milk has a slightly thicker texture than the oil, but does not feel heavy on the hair ends at all. When I use it, I truly feel as happy as the picture above! Despite my ugly roots (ha ha), the rest of my hair really looks nourished and super healthy.

Though this isn't the product I reach for often, it's a great backup to have in the stash especially on days where I have events to attend or when I sleep with wet hair and wake up with my hair in a mess. All I need to do is wet my hair ends which look wiry, comb through, apply the treatment milk in the steps stated above, and then let my hair air dry as I head out.

I've also been considering taking this with me when I go on trips to really hot and dry countries (think US/Australian Summers) and my hair gets burnt to a crisp. I just know this will totally come in handy!

P/S: If you notice from this photo, I curled the bottom half of my hair in with my GlamPalm styler - and while that awesome straightener itself doesn't require me to use a serum, I can still see a difference with the Asience Beauty Serum Leave-on Oil! If you zoom in, my hair has taken on that soft, somewhat wispy feel which I seldom get due to my horrendously thick tresses. After all, good hair still requires good caring, and a teensy little extra effort never killed anyone.

With that, I bid you all adieu and here's wishing everyone goodbye to their bad hair days! ;)

Both Asience's Beauty Serum Treatment Leave-on Treatments are available at leading supermarkets, western pharmacies and personal care stores from July 2015.

Go60's Most Advanced Hydrating Facial Treatment On the Go!

If you've been walking past Go60 countless of times at the Esplanade Xchange but never really found a reason to go check it out or try their services, here's something to motivate your first step in!

Their latest Most Advanced Hydrating Facial Treatment is a well welcome service to those who, like me, suffer from problematic dry skin. It is an intensive hydrating facial incorporating the Seven-step Manual Lymphatic Draining (MLD) Spanish technique that helps to remove toxins and keeps the cells healthy. As the lymph system is part of the body's natural defence system, giving it a proper massage ensures that the lymph system delivers nutrients to the cells as well as carry away cellular waste, bacteria and toxins.

The massage also reduces facial puffiness, hence alleviating looks of fatigue or swelling. With that added tender loving care, your stress levels naturally relieve and you will feel invigorated and younger! :)

Inside the treatment room

That's why, when I got the invite to go down and try the treatment, I was very super excited! :D

My skin normally goes through weird cycles where it's awesome for a week and then dry like the Sahara Desert the next and it's just so frustrating! Since it was so coincidental that the date of my facial fell on that desert-dry week, I was inclined to breathe a sigh of relief.

Thus, I made sure I arrived early to the store (haha kiasu me!) and quickly got comfortable in their simple and clean treatment room.

I felt a little comforted to know that they were using their own house brand products, because it just gives that added touch of personalization which I really like! Above shown is their toner and milk cleanser.

A typical Hydrating Facial Treatment goes as such:

  • Essential Cleanse
  • Enzyme Peel
  • Essential Toning Lotion Spray
  • Essential Serum
  • Seven-step Spanish Manual Lymphatic Drainage (MLD) technique
  • Customized Mask
  • Essential Moisturizer and UV Defence Mist Spray

In the 2nd photo above, I'm seen with the final step, the customized mask. :) The facial was actually done in a very dark room - if you refer to the picture with the candle in it - and it all felt super relaxing. I can actually imagine heading down for a facial after work and just dozing all that stress and pent up URGH-ness away haha!

Though to be completely honest, if you're expecting a full on HARDCORE massage like what you get at massage places, then be ready that it will not be like that. Yes there will be oil used, but sparingly so that you won't get that greasy feel, and even those with oily skins can benefit from this massage without breaking out. I must admit that I was actually hoping for one of those intense facial massages where all my pressure points would be pressed in firmly and then got slightly underwhelmed that it was more of very gentle pressure hahaha.

Perhaps I just got the idea of it all wrong, but it doesn't mean that the massage - in its own manner - did not feel good. I think it's all about managing expectations. The therapist was thorough enough to go from my chest to my neck, shoulders, and finally face. She lightly massaged, whilst constantly letting me breathe in the faint but calming smell of the oil. Definitely pleasant but, like I said, don't go in expecting some major rub down haha.

At the end of it all, I woke up feeling refreshed, especially from the final mask which felt so good on my skin. I also did not get any allergic reaction, which I'm so grateful for because my skin reacts very easily to new products.. so YAY! For those with sensitive skin, this has the all clear from me.

My skin felt supple and well-rested - balanced, for a better word. I went home barefaced as shown above (if anything it should be the eyelashes that make me look made up), and felt really good about myself! The next day, I could survive on minimal makeup and still feel radiant.

Since this facial is only $60, which I feel is pretty darn affordable especially for something located in the city hall area, I think it would definitely serve as a good quick pick-me-up for those who work around the CBD.

And even if you're not too keen on the same treatment I did, you can always try out others from their whole range such as the Go Radiant Facial, Go Age-less Facial, Go Hydrate Facial, Go Oil-free Facial, Go Spot-free facial, and Go Bye-Bye Panda Eyes, etc. They also have massages and slimming services available too! There's a treatment for everyone I'm sure.

My Slimming Journey with SHOU Slimming Center (1/2)

Credits to: Kennybite Productions

I know many people don't entertain me when I say I'm fat or have problem areas. The most common reactions I get when I mention my fatty issues are in the forms of scoffs, eye rolling and the occasional, "please talk to the hand".

Nonetheless, that doesn't change the fact that I am pear shaped; and if people can't really point out my issues then all I'd have to say is that I'm grateful my fashion choices have somewhat paid off HAHA (psst - stick to lots of flowy midi/maxi skirts/culottes or even shift dresses as seen above). Back to reality though, I do spend a lot of time in front of the mirror pinching the fats on my lower tummy and thighs wishing I could somehow magic them away!

And talk about magic... because that's when SHOU Slimming Centre approached me and offered to ease some of my weight pain (or should I say weight gain lol?). I'd been hearing many good things about SHOU recently and so I thought I'd give it a try!

But first, here is quick introduction to what SHOU Slimming Centre's about for those of you who may be unfamiliar:

SHOU Slimming Center revolutionizes body slimming by using safe effective treatments personalized to each person's body type. They ensure that inches are reduced and stubborn body fat is removed painlessly without the need for needles nor incisions, hence there is no recovery time required. Their treatments are also free from any pills and injections and - the best part being - that you do not need any special diets or meal supplements. Forget crash diets and sweaty workoutsl with their help, your problems will be settled safely and quickly.

For those who have flabby issues instead of fats, like if you're just looking to tone up your body, SHOU Slimming can help you too!

I got to bring someone along for my first session.. and..... SURPRISE! I asked my old blog partner, Ashley, along for some good ol' reminiscing haha. What wasn't good, however, was facing our fatty issues LOL! When asked to divulge our most sensitive problem spots, we both kind of mumbled away until it became whispers. It's just one thing to be aware of it, and another thing to let another person come face to face with your insecurities. Fortunately, the consultants at SHOU Slimming were very kind and patient. :)

From us initially feeling bad about ourselves, we started to open up and discuss what we'd like to improve on, and the consultants' light-hearted conversations had us laughing easily. They also decided on the courses of action for each of us and set us off to get our heights and weights measured before we started treatment.

As you can refer to the chit above, I HAVE LOTS OF FATS TO LOSE! Especially from my thighs. So the lovely consultant arranged for me to try out their Thermalipo treatment (for a more in-depth understanding, read the GetKlarity post):

The treatment is non-invasive, as you can see above; instead, the machine uses radiofrequency to improve the body shape, skin quality and texture by eliminating fat pockets. Areas that are usually treated with this method are the buttocks, abdomen, thighs, love handles and arms. How this works is by heating up the deepest layers of the skin, which causes the body fat to liquefy, allows blood circulation to increase, encourages the drainage of fatty deposits into the lymphatic system, and promotes the breakdown of fibrous tissue that leads to a reduction in the volume of fat cells which are then carried from the body naturally. Through this, the heating also accelerates collagen fibres and thus restructures and tightens the skin.*

*Typically, 8 to 10 treatments of this is recommended and results are often enhanced when used in conjunction with other body treatments.

My opinion: The whole treatment was indeed painless: painless to the extent that it was extremely relaxing! It felt like my body was getting a well-deserved feel-good massage, because it just felt awesome to know I was getting rid of my unsightly fats at the same time. To be very honest, what I feel I actually lost in the first session was mostly water weight - my thighs were SLIGHTLY more toned, but it wasn't anything obvious. In fact, the most significant result was in the smoothness of my skin texture and the elasticity as well. Ashley tried out Velashape (for a more in-depth understanding, read the GetKlarity post) for her cellulite concerns and also felt that there was not so much weight loss but the improvement in the firmness of her thighs. Overall, a good first impression! :)

Thank you SHOU Slimming Centre for the awesome first experience and I cannot wait to continue for the next one month to see and reveal my awesome results!

The 5 Biggest Troubles I Face as an Introvert

I WOULD like to begin this post by saying, "many people know me as an introvert...", but the fact is that not many people know me.

Some close friends say it's because I don't give many the chance to and some say it's because I look so fierce. I guess it could be both; and it's not so much that I enjoy it or whatever but it's really how I was brought up. My family is pretty private and thus I turned out as such. On the whole it doesn't really bother me, though there are occasions like tonight that I get bugged about it and thus feel I need to pen it down. So here goes... the 5 biggest troubles I face as an introvert.

1) I get mistaken as proud and arrogant all the time
credits to: lifehack.com
This is one point that really annoys me. I CANNOT help it that I've got a bitchy resting face. Like literally I CANNOT HELP THIS. I remember I had a math teacher once who called me back after class to ask me why I glared at him throughout the session when in reality it was my SERIOUS LISTENING FACE. Like why!?

I am not proud and arrogant in social settings but I am very very awkward and shy. If I do not approach you, chances are I've already run through the instances and scenarios in my head of what will happen if I approach you and I probably calculated the chances of you not wanting to speak to me. I am THAT awkward. I am also deathly afraid of small talk that dies halfway through because I never know how to resuscitate the conversation and I feel bad when I don't... so please don't mistake me for someone who doesn't care. I'm really more of someone who doesn't dare.

2) Social settings tire me out very easily

I am an easily tired person by nature. I sometimes lie in bed all day reading a book and still complain to my boyfriend that I'm very tired and want more rest. He normally reciprocates this statement with a, "get off my phone, I'm working" or with a really incredulous look of annoyance.

Now put me in a room with 10 people I have to mingle with and BAM. I am rendered immobile the next day. I kid you not. The day after my high school prom I refused to meet anyone nor leave my room. I do not know why I am like this.. it just is. So when I sometimes am unable to make an event or make last minute cancellations.. it's because I am truly truly tired. I am NOT blowing anyone off or being selfish. Especially if the event is a weekday and I have work the next day, I am more inclined to reject because I know I will end up useless in the office the following morning/afternoon. Most introverts I know need downtime, but I just somehow need more.

3) I overthink every situation

By nature, I tend to be rather quiet. I like to observe and be fully aware of my environment before I say or do anything. I always have friends or colleagues tell me that I look super unfriendly on the first day but it's always because I just want to suss out the situation and know how to react to people. I like to study what goes on so I don't make a wrong move.

Is that overthinking? YES IT IS! I hate it but it is pretty much ingrained. I'm not crazy to the point where if you do not reply me for 5 minutes I immediately assume you hate me... but I will run through multiple probabilities of what I did/say to annoy you. This might be what adds to my tiredness lol.

4) I really enjoy being alone...

So much so that I am actually able to not message/call my boyfriend for a full day sometimes because I am so blissfully alone. Some friends laugh at me and call me a mountain tortoise but I really don't get the joke? It would be SO AWESOME to be a mountain tortoise. I would love to be far far away on a mountain eating... whatever tortoises eat... moving slowly... sleeping.. then eventually dying.

Obviously this does nothing for my social life. I am very blessed that my boyfriend understands me enough to know this doesn't mean I love him any less, and also very lucky that my best friends know I may not always be 100% around but I will always be 100% supportive when needed. Those close to me, in turn, also show me a lot of care and concern and I am so appreciative.

However, because that pool of friends is so small LOL (my best friends are my COUSINS), I run into situations where I really want to go out and everyone is busy and I'm like I HAVE NO ONE ELSE TO GO OUT WITH and then become sad. Vicious cycle. I'm not complaining, but you do get why it's categorized as a 'trouble.'

5) I come off as very uncaring due to low self esteem

Someone once won my Instagram giveaway and I was supposed to meet her at Orchard MRT to pass the present to her (if you are that someone reading this, I really apologize). I already saw what this person looked like from her IG photos and I was like, "wow she's super pretty!" And on that day when we met... I looked pretty crappy lol and I kept thinking, okay find a way to pass the prize to her ASAP and run off so she can't see how bad you look.

In the end, when she arrived, she was perfectly sweet and smiley and I just threw the present at her and literally jumped into the MRT carriage. YES THAT HAPPENED. I actually called Ashley and told her what happened and she was like, "WHAT DID YOU JUST DO?"... Sigh. Anyway, that girl was lovely enough to text me that I looked gorgeous and hoped we would meet soon. I didn't know how to say she was so pretty too without sounding pretentious (because I really hate it when I tell someone they look good and they just say, "you too!"), so I replied something along the lines of "haha I'm sure we will meet again."

zzzzz.

I know... what the heck right. I've actually met her at events but never found the nerve to say hi or smile because I knew what I did back then was super retarded. In case I ever do the same to you, please know the chances are that I probably regret it till today.

Yeah that about rounds it up. Please don't take it that I'm making excuses for myself and thinking everyone should give in to me and what not. I just wanted to pen my thoughts down... you know.. rant a little bit. Everyone's entitled that, even on the net right? haha

I guess this has been one of my most personal posts so far... and maybe you can relate maybe you cannot. We're all made differently anyway....

Okay I do not know how to end this, and that is how awkward I am, so bye.
